Citizenship ceremonies

Have you recently become a Norwegian citizen? The County Governor invites all new citizens over the age of 12 to take part in a citizenship ceremony. The purpose of this citizenship ceremony is to welcome new citizens and mark their entry into the Norwegian community. The ceremony is a festive occasion, and it is up to you to decide whether you would like to take part or not.
